So my sister Alice runs across this sign after my Harvey the turtle post. What are the chances? And notice that the bereft turtle owner says her turtle "ran away." Man, that turtle and the hare story--the whole thing was backwards.

Seriously, what are the chances of seeing a sign for a runaway turtle on my way to work? Meaningless coincidence? I think not!
ReplyDeleteAnd what's up with the $100 reward? A turtle at a pet shop costs around $15. I see a scamming opportunity here :-)
One more addition to this tale of odd turtle synchronicities. Kate, who works with me, mentioned to me a few days ago out of the blue that she had to go buy a turtle for Father's Day.
