Happy birthday to my Mom! She's going to paint the town red tomorrow. First it's off to the junk shops with Cara, then Lucy gets a woods walk. After all that excitement, what else can we do but eat pancakes with fresh-brewed maple syrup?
This morning I donned the 40 lb. weighted vest for the woodshed workout:
Squats 3x10
Push-ups 5x10
Pull-ups 5x3
Sit-ups 3x20
I asked Jake to pick the components of the afternoon session. He kept it simple, though not necessarily easy:
50 burpee pull-ups
100 double-unders
As I may have mentioned, the burpee pull-up is a compound movement of 4 separate exercises, so, in essence, we did 50 squats, 50 thrusts, 50 push-ups and 50 pull-ups in no time flat.
